Last time we talked about Joshua's source of strength.
This one relates to Daniel...
"Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he
went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward
Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed,
giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before." Dan. 6:10
"As he had done before" literally means "As he had done since his
youth."
Daniel's prayer life was an anchored daily discipline. Even a life
threatening decree could not prevent his dedication. He made a
decision early in life that served God during a trying time.
Many young people fail because they have not made strict decisions
early. They get hit in the moment and falter.
